I hope you can help me I am unable to download my pictures from my camera as I seem to have lost all my olympus installation stuff and I cant find my box with it in. I keep getting told my computer cant find the usb digital still camera. I recently had to re install my hard drive and this is when i lost my olympus stuff. I have tried to download stuff from different sites for olympus but have been totally unsuccessful I hope you can help me.

I forgot to mention the camera type it is a olympus camedia digital camera model number C-860L

my camera is an olympus camedia C-860L digital camera. I've lost software from my computer and can't download my pictures from my camera. I have tried downloading from different sites but still not had any luck. can you help? thanks geff

When using the above mentioned config.sys rules for usb you just have to refresh the removable media in the drives folder and the usb-camera gets a drive letter assigned.(Mind "lastdrive=X")

update: cw drivers are no longer needed.

install latest usb drivers from ecs site and

the removable device monitor automatically attaches a drive letter to the camera.

(no refresh needed !)
